PressFit Sports · BoenAlgo

Athletes on the rise nobody else is tracking.

BoenAlgo tracks zero-star through 3-star football players at small-classification schools in the states that produce the most 4- and 5-star talent. We find them by their stats, not by recruiting-site rankings, because the kids we're looking for don't have rankings yet.

01 · The tracker

Rising athletes, verified by stats.

Every athlete here has real, cited production and no ranking above 3 stars on 247Sports, Rivals or On3. Identities are held back so they stay off other people's radar; coaches see the full record.

Each factor is scored 1–10. Score = the weighted total out of 100. An athlete becomes a BoenAlgo target only when his score clears the bar and he is rated 3 stars or fewer. Anything we can't verify is recorded as "Not on file", never estimated.

02 · How we find them

We start from the stat sheet, not the rankings.

Searching for "overlooked" or "underrated" recruits only turns up kids a recruiting analyst already wrote about. By definition, they've been found. So we look somewhere else.

Step 1

Pull the leaderboards

Raw MaxPreps stat leaders (rushing yards, touchdowns, tackles) for small-classification schools in the target states.

Step 2

Check every profile

For each name with real production: does a 247Sports, Rivals or On3 profile exist, and is it unranked across every system?

Step 3

Unranked + cited only

Only an absent or unranked profile combined with real, cited production counts as overlooked. Not a read of the tape.

Step 4

Log the source

The exact stat line and the profile (or its confirmed absence) are recorded with a date, so every finding can be checked later.

Only unranked, cited athletes make the tracker

03 · Why these schools

Same deep states. Smallest schools.

Texas, Alabama, Florida, Georgia and Louisiana produce the deepest concentration of 4- and 5-star talent, so their overall talent pool is enormous. Recruiting services chase the obvious blue-chips at the big 5A and 6A programs. They routinely miss kids at 6-man, 8-man, 9-man and other small-classification schools, because those programs get little to no camp-circuit or film-crew coverage.

6-man
The smallest classification in Texas (UIL).
8-man / 9-man
The smallest classification in several other states.
1A / 2A / Class A–B
The smallest full-roster classifications. Names vary by state athletic association.
04 · The score

Five factors. One number out of 100.

Target rule

Score clears the bar and rated 3 stars or fewer

The star cap keeps the tracker honest: a kid already rated 4 or 5 stars isn't overlooked, however high he scores.

Golden rule

Never fabricate an athlete fact

An unknown height, weight or classification is written as "Not on file". Nothing is guessed, estimated or filled in.

05 · Case studies

Two running backs. One target.

Both were verified on September 27, 2026, and both have no rating from any recruiting service. Here's why only one cleared the bar.

That's the algorithm working as intended. It doesn't flag everyone with an exposure gap, only the ones whose production also clears the bar.

06 · Where we scout first

Talent density, weighed against friction.

Every state is ranked by its talent tier against the cost and difficulty of registering there as an athlete agent. PressFit holds Utah and New York agent registrations, so states with reciprocity move up; Texas and California drop despite elite talent because there's no reciprocity and a bond is required.
